THE COACHING PROCESS
I provide a free, one-hour, consultation to all prospective clients. The consultation is the perfect opportunity to see if working together will be a good fit. The client-coach relationship is most effective when there is a match between your needs and my skill sets as a coach. Additionally, compatibility is an important factor in an effective client-coach relationship and the consultation provides a chance to get a feel for our working relationship. During the consultation, we will discuss your goals and the coaching process, and I will share how I envision coaching can help you achieve your goals.
I offer two options for clients who want to move forward with a coaching relationship. I highly recommend a 3-month coaching package. The package includes an initial 90-minute session and 8 subsequent 1-hour sessions for a total of 9 sessions in 3 months. I have found this to be most conducive to creating lasting changes for my clients.
I also offer individual sessions for those clients who feel more comfortable taking things session by session.
All coaching sessions are conducted via Zoom.
Once we’ve decided to move forward and work together, we sign a client coaching agreement. The agreement covers our coaching engagement period, fees, confidentiality, and communication availability. All of our work together will be strictly confidential. I am available in between sessions via email and phone to provide support if needed.
Our first session together will be an hour and a half long. The first 45 minutes will be spent on background information and going over any assessment tools we are using for discovery. We will work together to set specific goals to support your endeavors. The last 45 minutes will be spent coaching and creating forward momentum in achieving your goals.
Subsequent coaching sessions will be 1-hour sessions. We will cover topics to support the goals set in the initial session and do accountability check-ins to ensure progress and uncover any obstacles that may come up.
A PRODUCTIVE COACHING RELATIONSHIP BEGINS WITH TWO PEOPLE WITH FIRES IN THEIR BELLIES: ONE WHO WANTS DESPERATELY TO MOVE FORWARD AND ANOTHER WHO YEARNS TO HELP THAT PERSON MAKE THE JOURNEY.
